With this blog, I'll try to keep a diary of the building process of my own penny farthing bicycle.
The goal is to have it ready by spring 2013 so I can take it out of the workshop on a nice and sunny day and take it for a ride in the city of Bruges.

Spokes - part 4
Ok, I'm back in business... the new cutter arrived yesterday, and I was able to finish some more spokes. I also chamfered the holes in the bigwheel rim.
This is how my spoke - rim setup looks like:
As you can see, the head of the nipple is almost flush with the rim.
